Kavalan is Taiwan’s sole family-owned whisky distillery. Because of this, no other whisky can benefit from the country’s unique pure water and fresh air surroundings, perfect for producing a premium and memorable drop.
From initial inception in 2002, it was established in 2005 and its delightful whisky dropped from its first spout at 15:30pm on 11th March 2006 exactly. Kavlan is led by Mr.TienTsai Lee, founder of the esteemed King Car Root Beer company. With this experience, Kavalan is the product of a small but hugely skilled team of researchers, developers and award winning master blenders, with extensive knowledge in the world of beverages. Together, this expertise is used to create a unique, exotic and flavoursome whisky.
