Colloquially known as ‘Old Fitz’, Heaven Hill’s finest blend is one whiskey lovers will want to get to know. First produced all the way back in 1890, Old Fitzgerald has become one of Heaven Hill Distilleries’ staple whiskeys, and for good reason. The blend has undergone substantial changes in its 130-year history, but one thing has remained constant: its quality and exquisite taste.

Old Fitzgerald began its life as a whiskey for the privileged, making the rounds of private clubs in America’s south. It was then opened up to the general public across America and Europe. Notable for being one of the first whiskeys created using the pot still method, founder John E. Fitzgerald blazed a trail for whiskey producers around the world. The brand was even strong enough to survive prohibition, being one of the very select few to be distilled under government supervision throughout the period. This made it a prime purchase for the infamous Pappy Van Winkle, who helped to turn the whiskey into what it is today. Now in the safe hands of Heaven Hill Distilleries, Old Fitzgerald is a whiskey with a complex history and sophisticated flavour.
