The Isle of Jura is, of course, where George Orwell completed his seminal work Nineteen Eighty-Four. It’s also famous for being home to the eponymous distillery, whose 10 Year Old expression is known as one of its best. Exceptionally well-balanced and composed of both unpeated and smoky whisky matured in bourbon and completed in sherry, it’s a mild, smooth number that you’re sure to love.
