Great bottle
Great packaging for a small bottle. Glad someone treats their product like it should be valued.
Sherry notes are stronger than the 18 without being dominant. The 18 shows more nuttiness where as this is more dark fruit, fig, dates, but not overly so. Still a good mix of spices, nutmeg.

Perfect gift?
I bought this for myself by the size, presentation, price, and quality lends itself to be a wonderful gift for any occasion. Obviously Glengoyne 21 is a great whisky, and getting a reasonable amount for under $50 is an excellent value proposition. Even then, I was surprised how well put-together this product is overall, and would consider buying (several) more for gifts in the future.
