Edradour distillery is based in Pitlochry, Perthshire, and once claimed the title of ‘Smallest Distillery in Scotland’ (a title which now belongs to Strathearn). Established back in 1825, the distillery was run by just three men, with only two of them at the helm today. Just eighteen casks are produced each week, making any single malt from this distillery highly exclusive and sought-after.
Acquired by Pernod Ricard in 1982, most of the distillery’s yield was used to create blended whiskies. But when Signatory acquired the venue in 2002, Edradour moved back to its traditional output, creating single malts that still stun enthusiasts across the world.
