In Scotland lies the distillery of Deanston, following the traditional method of making single malt whiskies, you won’t find any modern technology for convenience here. The unmistakable taste of Deanston – creamy and sweet, with tones of honey blossom – is found in every exquisite hand-crafted bottle that leaves its doors.
The Deanston distillery lies on the banks of the River Teith and it’s the heart of the village it shares its name with. First operating as a cotton mill in 1785, Deanston distillery is constantly adapting to reflect modern times and innovation while still holding on to its traditions. The village built up around the cotton mill and in 1965 it was deemed the perfect place to make whisky. While Deanston and the cotton mill building have changed with the times, the distillery has held on to its connections with the past and its heritage, refusing to follow trends. Instead, the whiskies produced here focus on authenticity and superior quality.
