The Lagavulin 8 Year Old Islay single malt commemorates 200 years since the founding of the eponymous distillery, way back in 1816. This characterful eight-year-old is seductively smoky and honours whisky writer Alfred Barnard, who was enamoured with an eight-year-old during his visit in the 1880s.
