This single malt is matured in two woods, the main maturation is in traditional American Oak Bourbon casks and the whisky is then finished in Oloroso sherry barrels for a few months and each part of the ageing lends different qualities to the resulting whisky - traditional oak softens and adds character, whereas the sherry wood brings depth and fullness of flavour

Bought to go with a christmas present. Looks really special i'm sure he will love it as he is scottish and loves his whisky....

Purchased 3 miniatures for Xmas gift for friend needing to broaden his range of malts... Excellent range of products at pretty decent prices - I know the quality of Balvenie from old but will definitely be back for other brands... would recommend
