AnCnoc, the refreshingly modern single malt, is produced at a distillery called Knockdhu in Aberdeenshire. Traditional production methods are used to ensure whisky connoisseurs of all persuasions are impressed by its flavour – but the team behind this stunning single malt vowed to market it in an unrivalled contemporary style which sets it apart from the crowd.
The light-tasting single malt produced at Knockdhu is the result of close proximity to a rich array of resources. With an important railway line nearby, huge nearby fields full of peat and barley, as well as springs of beautiful, pure water, founder John Morrison immediately knew he was onto something special when he founded the distillery back in 1892. Back in those days, Knockdhu was considered highly modern – an image that the team have worked hard to maintain over the decades.
