Yarden Yarden Syrah

The dark purple 2002 Yarden Syrah shows off a rich and complex array of characters including ripe cherries and wild berries, layered with notes of earth, chocolate and hints of anise. A background of attractive oak adds to the wine's full body and high concentration of flavor. Yarden Syrah will continue to improve with bottle age and should remain in good condition for up to a decade. We most enjoy Yarden Syrah with intensely flavored foods, such as roast goose or a rich lamb stew. We also like it along with a decadent dark chocolate cake.
