2016 was a remarkable vintage for Galilean wine. Spring was warm, while winter rain was plentiful. The resulting harvest was remarkably quick, and the wine accordingly spectacular. This Syrah, from the Bar’on Vineyard, is dry and aromatic, with meaty tannins that pair nicely with lamb and braised vegetables.
