50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot Domaine du Castel is an Estate West of Jerusalem at an altitude of 2400ft. The vineyards are planted at a density of 6700 vines per hectare and produce very small yields. The grapes were handpicked and after fermentation the wine was aged 16 months in French oak. Note: Petit Castel is a full bodied wine with deep purple color. The wine, made from a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, has rich black fruit, cherry and plum and soft well-balanced tannins. The Petit Castel is aged 16 months in French oak barrels.
