Tamed for two decades by those wily Dufftown malt masters, Cowie's Blue Seal is new to the Mortlach range in 2018. This one earned its spurs in American oak ex-sherry casks prior to bottling at 43.4%, and benefits from the same 2.81 time distillation as its peers. Expect no end of depth, delicacy and slowly-developing dark flavours. Oh, and that bottle is an absolute beauty.
