The Shinshu distillery is nestled deep in the Japanese Alps. Mars Shinshu Maltage Cosmo is the latest addition to their single blend malts. Filtered with water that flows through granite rocks, this whisky has oaky spices along with some vanilla and walnuts on the nose. The palate has lots of fruity notes and a chocolaty finish.
