Whiskies like the Linkwood 1956 come along, if we’re lucky, once or twice in a generation. The ultra-rare 60-year-old Speyside single malt was patiently matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead filled at Linkwood in January 1956, and is thought to be the distillery’s final remaining cask from that decade.
