Kininvie Kininvie 23 Year Old - Batch No.2

Kininvie distillery first opened in July 1990 and broke the silence with its launch of the first batch of the Kininvie 23 Year Old in Taiwan duty free in 2013, Batch 2 is being introduced to the UK now, with every UK bottle displaying the distillation, batch number and individual bottle number. This fantastic whisky was matured in a mix of American hogsheads and sherry casks. Tasting Notes: Nose: Rich and vibrant aroma with ripe, fleshy fruit notes overlaid with creamy vanilla toffee sweetness.  A more subtle floral, leafy summer blossom note develops over time. Taste: Beautifully soft and mellow with a luxurious silky texture. The rich vanilla oakiness resulting from 23 years of maturation gives an incredible depth of flavour and sweetness.  Woody spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves are layered with zesty citrus and candied orange peel Finish: Enduringly sweet
