Herzog Wine Cellars is proud to announce Generation IX, a Cabernet as rich and sophisticated as any that has been produced in the world. From Stags Leap comes this incredibly limited wine, a wine that will hold for years to come and be a perfect choice for your most special moments.
There are few places in the world as revered for their wine as the Stags Leap district in Napa. In 1976 a Stags Leap Cabernet shocked the world by beating every French wine in a blind tasting in what affectionately became known as The Judgment of Paris. This was the moment that California wines gained the recognition they enjoy today.
Stags Leap is very small, only a half mile wide by three miles long, and produces very little grapes. It is rare to get grapes of this calibre for any winery, and never before has a kosher winery every had a Stags Leap Cabernet in its portfolio . . . until now.
