Irish single malts finished in rum casks aren’t too easy to come by, and the Gelston's 12 Year Old might be the first and last one you ever need to try. Exotically spiced, redolent of bright fruit and with a lingering, oaky finish, it’s got all bases covered.

air has improved this over time but pricey
Not a bad drop, and a nice bottle too. Caramel leads to fruit, peaches I think. Some pepper and oaky heat at end, with more fruits appearing.
Very nice and has improved with air in bottle.
I reviewed this elsewhere and then wasnt impressed but the air in bottle has improved this over time and i am sadly finishing the last dram as i type.
think then i was miserly with a 3, so here i will say 4. its still overpriced tho.
