Cragganmore appears for a sixth time in Diageo's yearly Special Releases. The 2016 edition has no age statement, though its provenance is less mysterious: it matured in both American oak hogsheads and also European oak ex-sherry butts. The whisky is sweet on the nose, with a full, fruity flavour developing on the palate.
