The 2017 Moulin Riche is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This wine is produced from a 22 hectare parcel at the north of the St Julien commune next to Batailley. This terroir will never produce such deep, profound wines as the Grand Vin, so the wine-making team are careful to extract gently and produce a charming, perfumed St Julien for earlier consumption than the Leoville Poyferre.
