With a brand new bottle design, Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old is a fine dram with a nice strength of 46.3% ABV (slightly higher than previous). The lightly peated release has a sweet nose with hints of seaweed and malt. The palate is soft and sherried, with malt, a little sweetness and some sultana hints.

Mild by Islay Standards

Much easier to drink than some of its Islay cousins and with a sweetness too. Still includes a suggestion of smokiness and sea salt
