Red wines come in a variety of tastes and textures: from fresh and fruity to big and bold. This special selection of red wines will leave you spoiled for choice. Starting with J de Villebois Sancerre whose intense herb, gooseberry and citrus aromas leave a lingering vibrancy on the palate. This leads beautifully to the Chateau de Parsac Montagne Saint-Emilion with its tone of ripe fruits with hints of vanilla and spices. Moving on slightly to richer notes is the Chateau les Riganes Bordeaux whose aroma is reminiscent of earthy forest with subtle notes of blackberries and blueberries, which takes us to the pleasing, well-rounded, supple, and fruity textures of the Chateau des Laurets. The final two in this taster line-up are medium to full-bodied wines. The Cuvee Hautes Terres has a solid line of chewy tannins with subtle black raspberry and cassis scents leading to a fresh and bright fruit on the finish. Finally, the Les Lauriers Montagne Saint-Emilion provides earthy fruity aromas such as cherries and raspberries. The wine is bursting with fruit with subtle hints of oak and cedar on the finish. This varied selection is the perfect taster for the red wine connoisseur.
