When master distiller Jamie Baxter decided to go for a walk in Burleigh Wood in the beautiful countryside of Leicestershire, little did he imagine that this recreational ramble would be the beginning of something special. He happened upon some silver birch, dandelion, burdock, elderberry, and iris, and enthused by this find, Mr Baxter sowed the seed of an idea, and created a recipe that includes 11 botanicals to produce a deliciously earthy, crisp, and sophisticated gin.
It seemed only fitting that the woodland that inspired this new creation should give it its name, and thus Burleighs Signature London Dry Gin was born.
